What it means is that there isn't some intricately planned story woven into the game, they're still figuring it out and have to make these changes because they didn't plan ahead. We also keep seeing them retcon simple things, change details in levels, etc to fit some new narrative. It's been well over a year and the plot hasn't budged. Well they sure are good at feeding little bits. The fact they actually changed the logos relatively recently makes me think even more that this part of the lore is significant and on Blizzard's mind. You can confirm this yourself right now in the live game. This was true last year, but all logos were patched to green around the time of Mei's cinematic.

The green logo only shows up in Ecopoints, and the blue logo only shows up on Winston's aquatic skin and the PC monitor image of the dropships over the ocean, as far as I can find.Įdit 2: Some people think Ecopoint: Antarctica uses yellow/blue logos. This is clearly wrong as you can see in-game for yourself that the map is only covered in the standard orange logo, and its loading screen icon is also the standard orange logo.
